Born in Washington, DC, Mike spent his childhood in Centreville, Virginia where at a young age, he found an affinity for illustration. Mike attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree under VCU’s Communication Arts program. After bouncing around the country for a few years (Winston Salem, Washington, DC, Austin Texas) Mike now makes his home in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Mike has worked in a variety of graphic design environments including design studios, print shops, and office settings both in temporary and permanent positions. While doing so, he freelanced on nights and weekends building up a client base. And in 2004 Mike started Spot Creations.
