Bucks County Opportunity Council
BCOC is the lead anti-poverty, 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As the designated Community Action agency for the county, it is part of a national network of over 1,000 agencies established in 1965 as part of Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty. We are dedicated to ending poverty by connecting people with the resources they need to thrive.
THE CHALLENGE
The agency had an outdated website that did not represent their status as the lead In addition anti-poverty agency in Bucks County, PA. The website was not ranking on search engines and the navigation was confusing for visitors to the website. BCOC, also wanted to highlight their Instagram posts directly on the website.
THE APPROACH
We met and reviewed what the staff envisioned for the organization’s website, branding and overall digital marketing strategy. We freshened up the existing logo, and created a design for the new website to reflect the agency’s stature. We built a mobile/responsive WordPress website that is easy to navigate and allows users of the site to easily find what they are searching for. In addition, we greatly improved their search engine ranking. The new design is modern, mobile/responsive, and the Instagram feed reflects the new branding and style.
